Though Bro. and Sis. Roberts have passed on to their eternal reward, their vision lives on. The Bradenton Assembly is a testament to the power of a calling, built on the shoulders of individuals who gave their all to create something lasting. It’s more than just a physical building; it’s a reflection of lives poured into service, a heritage of truth, and a continuing story of transformation and hope. The work goes on to this day, touching hearts and inspiring new generations to carry the torch.

The Bradenton Assembly stands as a testament to faith, perseverance, and dedication. Founded in 1944 by Bro. Jim and Sis. Grace Roberts, this humble ministry began its journey in what was once a small, modest mission building, now replaced by a parking area. Bro. Roberts, a bridge builder by trade and a planter of truth at heart, along with Sis. Roberts, laid the foundation for a work that has touched countless lives. Their legacy reflects their unwavering commitment to spreading hope and truth, having begun their ministerial path under Bro. Monroe Osborne in the 1930s in Cairo, Illinois.
Brother John Marlow joined the assembly in 1945 and became deeply rooted in the Roberts’ lives, living as a son in their home. After serving as a pastor in multiple cities, including Des Moines, IA; Cincinnati, OH; and Anna, IL, Bro. Marlow and his wife, Sis. Ethel, returned to Bradenton and carried forward the work that the Roberts so lovingly began. Becoming pastor in 1960, Bro. Marlow now faithfully marks his 62nd year of service, dedicating his life to continuing this legacy of faith and love.
